University of New Haven Students Set to Produce Short Film My Man for 2025
West Haven, CT — The University of New Haven's College of Arts and Sciences has officially selected a short film project to be developed by students during the Spring and Fall semesters of 2025. Titled My Man, the film is written and directed by Kathryn Asiel and follows the journey of a young woman, an aspiring singer, who falls in love with a man hiding a dark secret.
This student-led production will be brought to life by a dedicated crew of nine talented filmmakers:

Under the guidance of the University's Film and Media Studies program and Prof. Paul Falcone, this project provides hands-on industry experience while showcasing the storytelling and production skills of the next generation of filmmakers.
