Kathryn Asiel is a filmmaker at the University of New Haven who is passionate about story-telling, leadership, and bringing a strong vision to life. She takes pride in her creative versatility, hoping to one day have the platform to do it for a living. Her degree focuses on film and media entrepreneurship, centering on how to create meaningful and entertaining content while connecting with audiences nation-wide. Her portfolio showcases her different abilities when it comes to short film, music video, documentary and promotional production. She is enthralled to embark on the journey of directing her story, “My Man,” and is optimistic that this film will be a pivotal part in her film career.
Jay Lee Sanders is a student filmmaker at the University of New Haven with a strong passion for visual storytelling and a dedication to bringing unique ideas to life through film. Specializing in promotional videos, documentaries, and narrative films, Jay’s diverse portfolio showcases his ever-growing skill set in the art of storytelling. As an experienced writer, he brings a deep understanding of narrative structure and character development to every project. Jay is eager to continue learning and growing within the filmmaking world and is excited to connect with fellow creatives and potential collaborators to bring captivating stories to the screen.
Elisa Broche (Gabrielle) is a Honduran filmmaker, journalist, and editor who is passionate about storytelling that challenges perspectives and amplifies diverse voices. She is pursuing a Communications degree with a concentration in Film and Media Production. Elisa has worked on various projects, from documentaries exploring social justice themes to narrative films exploring human emotions and experiences.
Mackenzie Marquardt is a Communications major with a concentration in film and media entrepreneurship. She is passionate about the power of digital media to tell compelling stories and create meaningful connections.
As a Casting Coordinator, Mackenzie specializes in identifying talent that brings characters to life, ensuring a seamless casting process that aligns with the creative vision of each project.
Alexa Maniccia is from Torrington, CT and is currently a student at the University of New Haven currently pursuing a BA in Communications with a concentration in Film Production and Media Entrepreneurship. She has experience in making short films, music videos, and writing screenplays, stage plays, and articles and is passionate about the work she creates.
Janelle Rosario is a Communications major with a concentration in film & media at the University of New Haven. Janelle enjoys being able to tell a story that brings emotion and feel to viewers. Film has stuck with Janelle all throughout her life and she continues to explore more. As the Location Manager, Janelle is eager to find settings that reel the viewers in and allow them to grasp the film as a whole.
Messiah Williams is a passionate and ambitious film major with a focus on communications , currently pursing his academic career at University of New Haven. Known for his keen eye for storytelling and dynamic filmmaking techniques, Messiah inspires to quickly earn a reputation as a rising talent in the film industry.His works are marked by deep understanding of narrative structure, a creative approach to visual composition, and a exploration of human emotions
Quinn Lawson is a Communications major at the University of New Haven, concentrating in film production and media entrepreneurship. He is passionate about his craft and wants to bring joy to his audiences through compelling storytelling and creative visuals. He has worked on various projects, ranging from a comedy about a terrible roommate to a suspenseful narrative about a creepy doll, always striving to push the boundaries of his creativity.
Taralyn Andes is a senior at the University of New Haven, completing her degree in Communications. As a Production Designer, she is dedicated to crafting visually captivating films that delve into the psychological intricacies of love, mystery, and deception. Her growing portfolio includes documentaries, music videos, and published articles in the Charger Bulletin Newspaper. Driven by a deep conviction that everything happens for a reason, Taralyn aspires to use film and media as powerful tools to deliver impactful messages to audiences worldwide.
